AFFINITY COUNSELING GROUP

Affinity Counseling Group was founded by a group of social workers who wanted to help families in crisis and those in marginalized populations gain access to high quality therapy and counseling services. Prior to working with Helen Marie, ACG had no consistent visual identity and no printed materials, such as brochures or business cards, to promote its efforts. We presented them with a new logo and designed materials that helped them speak to both potential clients and counselors. READ ON

What they wanted

Founded by a group of social workers, Affinity Counseling Group provides much needed family and individual therapy and counseling to those who might otherwise not be able to access it. With a diverse and distinctly educated staff, ACG had presented across the United States and internationally to much acclaim, but lacked a cohesive visual identity and had no printed material with which they could promote the organization and their mission.

What we did

  • Created an image of a parent swan and gosling as a metaphor for the leadership and communal support provided by a functioning family unit
  • Presented this as a fresh mark with logotype to help communicate ACG's role to their potential clients and colleagues
  • Designed printed collateral in accordance with the new look and logo.
